Privacy Policy

DaySudoku is a static browser game designed to work without an account. This policy explains the limited data used to provide the daily puzzle.

Information stored on your device

DaySudoku stores gameplay data in your browser’s local storage. This can include:

• today’s puzzle identity and progress;
• Key9 and Full Sudoku results;
• entered numbers, notes, hints, and elapsed time; and
• practice and resume state.

The service worker may also keep site assets and puzzle responses in your browser’s cache so the game can load reliably and provide limited offline support.

This information stays on your device. DaySudoku does not provide account sync or a server-side game history. You can remove it by clearing site data for daysudoku.com in your browser.

Network and hosting data

Your browser requests the website, puzzle manifest, and puzzle files from DaySudoku’s static hosting provider, Cloudflare. Like other hosting providers, Cloudflare may process standard request information such as IP address, browser information, requested URL, and security data to deliver and protect the site. Cloudflare describes its practices in its Privacy Policy.

DaySudoku does not currently use an account system, advertising network, analytics service, tracking pixel, or backend gameplay database.

Cookies

The DaySudoku application does not set cookies for advertising or analytics. Browser local storage and Cache Storage are used for game progress and offline support as described above.

Sharing and clipboard access

DaySudoku uses your browser’s native sharing or clipboard feature only after you choose a Share action. The generated result text is passed to the browser. DaySudoku does not receive the destination, recipients, or messages you add in another app.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when DaySudoku’s features or data practices change. The effective date at the top will be revised when material changes are published.
